What Is Death?

What is Death?

A new beginning.

New Springtime.

New hope.

If not, if a blank darkness descends,

What peace!

No more loving, no more hating.

A beautiful, calm space,

Free of anxiety and shaudenfraud,

Where the restless mind may sleep.

No need to apologise.

No more regrets, no more false hope,

of doing better, or trying harder,

or agonising which path should have been taken.

Just a sleep, and peace, and perhaps?

A new beginning,

Awaking to a new life,

To do it all over again.
